I create a bespoke interview script that explores the things YOU want to find out.

I run in-depth interviews with your chosen clients (5 as a minimum to make the process worthwhile…) at a time that suits them.

We explore their experiences of working with you in a non-judgemental, friendly discussion.

I analyse the information I’ve collected.

I pull out evidence of your impact. I select the best quotes and testimonials that illustrate how highly your clients think of you.

I look for areas or your business where you could do an even better job.

I am worried about what you might find out...

Don't be! Go into this with an open mind, and be prepared to listen and perhaps to hear things you didn't expect, but I guarantee you will be delighted with the results. Your clients are often your best advocates, they just aren't great at telling YOU that!

In reality, the feedback is usually far more positive than my clients expect. And when something constructive does come up, it’s often something small but useful—something you can act on before it becomes a bigger issue. You won’t be blindsided. You’ll be supported, and you’ll come away feeling clearer and more confident than when we started.

I'm concerned my clients won't make the time to talk to you...

Don't worry - I've got this covered! I'm used to inviting people to take part in research interviews and I have plenty of experience of persuading people to give their time for something as valuable as this. What if I don't learn anything new?

That’s completely understandable. Your clients matter to you and it’s a big deal to let someone else into that space.

What kinds of clients should I choose for the review?

I’ll guide you through this, but generally, you’ll choose a selection clients who know your work well.

They don’t need to be your “best ever” clients, just people who’ve experienced the full scope of what you do.

Often it’s a mix of long-term relationships, recent wins, and people who’ve had different service experiences.

Will my clients know what to expect?

Yes. Either you or I (as you'd rather) will send a clear, respectful invitation and explain exactly why I’d like to talk to them.

I keep the process light-touch and easy for them. Most interviews take no more than 30 minutes, and I make sure it feels like a valuable reflection for them, too, with absolutely NO sense of sales or an uncomfortable corporate exercise in sight!

Is this right for me if I’ve only worked with a small number of clients?

The RIR isn’t about quantity—it’s about quality of insight.

I recommend that a review has a minimum of 5 clients, to make it worthwhile, and to get a broad enough range of experiences and perspectives.

Those five thoughtful client interviews can surface rich feedback, strong quotes, and game-changing clarity. If you’re unsure whether you’ve got enough to work with, we can talk it through first.

Can I do another Rapid Impact Review in the future?

Yes, and many clients do. Some come back 12–18 months later to reflect on how things have evolved, revisit their messaging, or check in with a new set of clients.

It’s especially useful after a big shift in your offer, business model or positioning.

Repeat reviews build on your earlier insight and give you a strong sense of momentum and progress - like a strategic mirror you can return to.
